You’ll Love the Historic Charm of These New Rhinebeck Condos
The Gardens at Rhinebeck offer amenities, beautiful finishes, and — bonus! — no outdoor-maintenance responsibility.
The ribbon will be cut Saturday on a condominium community that’s a luxurious gem in a bucolic countryside setting.
Visitors are invited to an open house at noon on Saturday, September 15 for the third and final phase of The Gardens at Rhinebeck, a mix of single-level and two-story homes on Sunflower Place in Rhinebeck, less than two miles from the Rhinecliff train station.
One-third of Phase 3’s 79 units are already sold. Owners may choose between two models, the Arlington and the Beacon. Both carry the benefits of home ownership, with the bonus of a clubhouse with a pool, fitness center, and tennis courts, and minus the mundane chores of outdoor maintenance. The Arlington is a 2,134-sq ft, single-level condo with two bedrooms and two baths, plus a garage. The Beacon is a two-story condo that measures 2,731 sq ft, with a first-floor master suite, living room, and open-concept kitchen and dining area. The first floor also has a powder room and a garage. A second bedroom, den, and full bath are on the upper level.
“These are the final 49 units in the Gardens,” says David Silver, developer and partner of The Gardens at Rhinebeck with Joe Kirchhoff, builder and partner. “These are two spectacular luxury designs that will accommodate the need for space and open the door to the Hudson Valley, where you can be captivated by all there is around you!”
“The Town of Rhinebeck is so grateful to David Silver and Joe Kirchhoff for their continued vision for the Gardens at Rhinebeck,” says Elizabeth Spinzia, Supervisor, Town of Rhinebeck. “In 2010, they worked their magic on an abandoned building site and transformed it into the beautiful, high-quality Phase 2 of the Gardens. Now, with Phase 3 nearing completion, new units are available for residents and newcomers alike anyone looking to downsize and live in comfort and luxury. The Gardens at Rhinebeck fits in perfectly with the goals of the town’s Comprehensive Plan; preserving our open space, and maintaining our rural character, and proving Rhinebeck to be one of the country’s most extraordinary small towns.”
The Arlington models start at $539,000. Monthly maintenance — which includes landscaping, snow removal, garbage pickup, clubhouse, fitness center, pool, and tennis courts — is $308. Annual taxes are $5,249. Owners of the Beacon models can expect to pay at least $573,395, with the same monthly maintenance fee as the Arlington. Annual taxes are $6,402.
